The theater has been restored to its original glory by the Meadows family, and you will be awed when you enter one of Mansfield’s most loved historic buildings. It’s an intimate, 153-seat venue that is sure to please you, both visually and with the outstanding acoustics. Our family staff is there to make you feel at home. The Farr Best Theater was built in 1917 and is now 94 years old.
We host bands looking for a cozy place to perform. In addition, the theater is available for private rental for most types of birthday parties, church and school events (including concerts), and corporate training needs. The theater has a huge High Definition movie/presentation screen and a 1080p Dvd/Blu-Ray projector, as well as a state-of-the-art sound and L.E.D. lighting system.
